Athlete + Running Coach
Mission StatementHelping people to realize, pursue, and maximize their God-given potential through endurance sport.
Because the finish line matters. But who you become in pursuit of it matters more.
I coach runners from beginners building consistency or training for their first race to experienced athletes chasing marathon PRs and big goals.
My approach is simple: the athlete is a person first and a runner second. Your training should account for your goals, experience, schedule, work, family, stress, recovery, strengths, weaknesses, and everything else you bring with you to training.
No generic plans. No training just to check boxes. We train with purpose!

What Coaching Looks Like
I get to know YOU
We start with a detailed athlete intake covering your goals, running and athletic history, recent training, schedule, injury history, strength training, preferences, lifestyle, race plans, and anything else that could affect your training.
I don't want to know only how fast you run. I want to understand the person doing the running.
Personal Programming
Your training lives in Final Surge, where you'll receive individualized workouts with clear instructions, effort or pace guidance when appropriate, and context for what we're trying to accomplish.
Your plan may include easy running, long runs, speed and threshold work, hills, strength, cross-training, recovery, race-specific training, or other elements based on what you need.
Communication
This isn't a training plan that gets sent to you and forgotten. You provide feedback. I review your training. We talk about what I'm seeing, how you're feeling, what worked, what didn't, and what we need to change.
I want you to understand the why behind your training, not blindly follow instructions.
Plan Adjustments
Life happens. Travel. Work. Kids. Bad sleep. Great workouts. Terrible workouts. Illness. Soreness. Unexpected stress.
Your training should respond to the athlete you actually are that week, not the athlete a spreadsheet assumed you would be months ago.
